The 17th “SteelFab 2022”, MENA’s largest event of its kind, will kick off tomorrow Monday at the Expo Centre Sharjah.
Running from 10 to 13 January, the 4-day event is organized by the Expo Center Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
With over 150 exhibitors of the major local and international players in metalworking field, the exhibition highlights state-of-the-art innovations of more than 400 world-leading brands from 30 countries.
The event will showcase the most prominent technologies of the fourth industrial revolution in the iron and steel sector, the latest equipment and machinery for the steel industry, modern technologies in the fields of metal forming, laser systems for metal cutting, steel fabrication machines, and AI-powered robots.
Meanwhile, the Expo Centre Sharjah will be hosting the 6th Fasteners World Middle East, a full-fledged vertical show for the entire fasteners and fixing industry.
Major British industrial companies are taking part in this event through the UK pavilion, in addition to the participation of leading countries in the steel industry, including Germany, Italy, India, and Turkey, besides a remarkable presence of Emirati and local companies.
“SteelFab 2022” is supported by international associations and leading companies such as UCIMU Sistemi Per Produrre (Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machine Tools, Robots, Automation Systems and Ancillary Products), UAE Contractors Association, Ventures Middle East (VME), and Construction Week Online (ITP).
Also, the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority is partaking in the event to shed light on the privileges of setting up businesses in it and the facilities it provides to investors.
On the sidelines, SteelLFab Machinery Technology Equipment Conference will be organized. The conference will feature panel discussions on key learnings from the impact of Covid-19 on demand and supply, and the changing face of the structural steel fabrication market, among other topics.
SteelFab 2022 opens its doors daily from 10 am to 7 pm.
