8th Issue of ‘Political Participation’ Magazine Celebrates Parliamentary Work Accomplishments, Charts Path for Next 50 Years

  • The issue was published by the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs in parallel with the UAE’s celebrations for its Golden Jubilee.

 The eighth issue of the ‘Political Participation’ magazine – published by the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MFNCA) – celebrated the accomplishments made in parliamentary work over the past 50 years of the UAE’s history.

The magazine features articles and studies that focus on the future of parliamentary work in the next 50 years and its role in fulfilling the UAE’s vision for global leadership and excellence.

The ’Political Participation’ magazine aims to raise political awareness among all segments of the community, as well as to introduce the great accomplishments parliamentary work is making, and its efforts in the service of the country and its people. The magazine focuses on initiatives and events that promote a culture of political participation in the community.

In its opening article, the magazine asserted that the UAE has made numerous achievements across various fields over the past 50 years, through which it was able to present a bold, forward-thinking vision that inspired many countries in the region and around the world – a vision where human beings take centre stage and are empowered to achieve the impossible and reach the highest ranks.

The article went on to note that the main goal from the joint efforts between the government and the Federal National Council is to serve the UAE community, address the problems it faces, and meet citizens’ needs and aspirations by enacting laws and discussing general topics in order to ensure prosperity and drive development in all sectors, as part of the journey to achieve the UAE’s vision for the next 50 years.

The issue included articles and studies into parliamentary work over the past 50 years, as well as scenarios for the next 50. Topics of focus included parliamentary work and forecasting the pillars of success over the next 50 years.
