Under the theme of Innovate for Impact, ID25 in Riyadh will foster collaboration on ideas and approaches to innovation, enrich the STEM talent pool, and strengthen the global innovation ecosystem.
ACWA Power, announced the hosting of the third edition of its flagship Innovation Days event (ID25) from February 3 to 5, 2025, at The Garage, Riyadh’s innovation district. Over 1,000 delegates are expected to convene under the theme "Innovate for Impact", exploring how open innovation can drive tangible value creation and boost its ecosystem.
Under the esteemed patronage of the Ministry of Energy, ID25 will be held for the first time in Riyadh in collaboration with key stakeholders within the innovation ecosystem, including the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), Research, Development, and Innovation Authority (RDIA), King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (K.A.CARE) and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).
Hosting this edition of the Innovation Days in Riyadh, with a strategic focus on relevant technologies and audiences, fosters high-quality ideas and collaborations, enriching the STEM talent pool and strengthening global collaboration in research, development and innovation agendas. This landmark event aims to unite government dignitaries, industry leaders, innovators, researchers, and academics to engage in meaningful discussions in accelerating the deployment of new technologies, institutionalizing foresight and forward thinking in the energy transition landscape, thereby significantly contributing to the realization of Vision 2030 for the Kingdom.
ID25 will feature interactive panels, presentations, and live demonstrations showcasing impactful innovations in renewables, energy storage, seawater desalination, and green hydrogen, as well as advancements in digital innovation and artificial intelligence. The event will highlight ACWA Power's innovation roadmap and demonstrate its commitment to accelerating technology advancement, seamless integration, and rapid implementation at scale and pace.
