Ooh-la-la, an elegant Parisian cocktail lounge has opened at the palatial beach resort Jumeirah Al Qasr – Bar Buci.
Set against the backdrop of stunning views of the shimmering Arabian Gulf, Bar Buci is a brand-new concept that offers exquisite mixology and delicious French bites with a vintage jazz vibe. The latest in a series of 13 new and enhanced dining concepts to open by the end of the year, Bar Buci adds a certain je ne sais quoi to Jumeirah Group’s vibrant beachfront. It is also a key part of the luxury beach resort’s culinary renaissance, joining The Hide, La Plage and the soon-to-open new iteration of Dubai institution Al Nafoorah.
Bar Buci recalls the romance of Saint-Germain with its electronic jazz vibe, eclectic interiors, bohemian styling, vintage art and culture narrative. Famed for its diversity, Saint-Germain inspires the essence of the lounge, drawing a crowd seeking out likeminded souls looking to celebrate life and push boundaries, in the true spirit of hedonism. With a penchant for non-conformity, Bar Buci serves up an alluring line-up of cocktails for guests to explore early evening and late night. The unique and evocative menu features signature drinks including Rodin’s The Kiss, Le Chat Noir and Le Tabou.
To satiate their appetite, guests can indulge in a delectable selection of innovative bar bites crafted by Executive Chef Eric Turgeon, including Croquettes au Boeuf Bourguinon, Braised Beef with a Shallot Aioli, Croque Monsieur au Chou Fleu with Reblochon Cheese and Veal Ham, Tatake de Thon, Seared Tuna in a Shitake Vinaigrette, Terrine de Foie Fras served on toast and a Pain Brioche au Homard with Curry Aioli Slaw.
Boasting mesmerising ocean views, guests can also enjoy the cooler weather on Bar Buci’s picturesque terrace, perfect for watching the sky change hues or enjoying the winter evenings.
