Mrs. May El Khalil, Founder and President of the Beirut Marathon Association visited the LAU Medical Center- Rizk Hospital  on the 25th of January to thank the LAU Medical Centers teams for the support of the Beirut Marathon association. During her visit, Mrs. El Khalil awarded  the LAU Medical Centers Rizk Hospital and Saint John’s Hospital with trophies, and offered certificates to all the volunteers who partook in this amazing event.

The ceremony took place in presence of Mr. Sami Rizk, CEO of the LAU Medical Center- Rizk Hospital, Dr. Roula Farah, Dr. Rachid Rahme and Mr. Saad el Zein Assistant to the President for Special Projects.

LAU Medical Centers Rizk Hospital and Saint John’s hospital were the official and exclusive medical partners of Beirut Marathon. Their teams were present in three different medical checkpoints to assist and aid runners’ injuries.They spread the message of hope in a broader spectrum under the race’s slogan: Unite we run for hope and re-affirm their mission of healing with compassion.
