His Excellency Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) congratulated H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak (The Mother of the Nation), Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), on the occasion of Emirati Women's Day and expressed his gratitude and deep appreciation to every Emirati woman who deservedly contributes to the development of the UAE, as their achievements inspire the rising generations and establish their position as a role model.
His Excellency also extended his warmest greetings to all the pioneering and inspiring Emirati women employees of the PCFC, indicating that this day is a precious occasion to celebrate their successes and sacrifices, and to commemorate their achievements and their great role in the successes achieved by the Corporation over the years.
Bin Sulayem added, 'We are proud of the vital and distinguished role that Emirati women play in all fields, and we affirm our commitment to providing support and opportunities that contribute to achieving their ambitions and aspirations, and we hope that they will continue to inspire us and make positive contributions to achieving progress and prosperity in our beloved country”.
This came during of the Corporation’s celebration of the Emirati Women’s Day, which was held at the Dubai Maritime Authority Theater in the presence of the Corporation’s women employees from all its departments and business units. The celebration included a number of workshops, as well as drawing on a group of valuable prizes presented by sponsors.
His Excellency added: 'Emirati women in the PCFC hold many leadership, supervisory and administrative positions We have a team of distinguished Emirati women who left their mark on the success of the PCFC through their work in various specialized fields such as civil and chemical engineering, the environment, information security and technology, and other specializations”.
