The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) highlighted its innovations including AI techniques in healthcare that it has adopted during the UAE Innovates event at Expo.
The authority reinforced the importance of innovation across all fields particularly in healthcare to improve patient experience and quality of life.
The DHA also highlighted its ‘Future of Health 2030 Hackathon’ initiative that presents an opportunity for community members to submit their innovative ideas in three main areas: Mental Health, Digital Health, and Preventative Care & Well-Being.
H.E. Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, Director General of Dubai Health Authority highlighted that when the UAE Innovation event was introduced, it was only a week long initiative and over the years it has grown significantly and that it is celebrated for a month every year, reinforcing the importance of innovation across all fields.
He added that in the field of health, innovation plays a vital role and that the DHA pays significant importance to research and innovation in order to improve patient care and quality of life.
Over the last few years, DHA has accelerated its pace in implementing the latest technologies in healthcare from telemedicine to AI across service delivery as well as healthcare management to further bolster the Emirate’s health system and provide patients with the highest quality of specialised patient-centered care.
