Emirates Health Services showcases innovative health projects at GITEX 2022 including immediate Covid 19 screening device

Emirates Health Services (EHS) is participating in the world’s biggest tech event — GITEX Global from October 10 to 14 at Dubai World Trade Center  — to highlight its innovative new quality health services including its latest projects based on Artificial intelligence technologies and the Internet of Things.

During the event, EHS will be showcasing its latest smart health care service technologies for customers, including the ID NOW project, a portable device for visitors that provides Covid 19 diagnosis and results within 13 minutes.

During the exhibition, EHS will also be demonstrating its interactive website design, smart application, and electronic and smart services for customers, highlighting their features and most important digital characteristics on GITEX screens at its exhibition stand.

By highlighting its website, which it launched in November 2021, after studying the needs and requirements of customers, EHS aims to inform the public of the best practices in this field by showcasing a comprehensive and integrated website that guarantees customer satisfaction.

The site reviews the latest developments, news, service cards, prominent events, initiatives and open data, in ways that ensure information reaches everyone in society. The site is available in both Arabic and English, with the possibility of translation into 108 languages using the site’s Google Translate feature, and it is accessible for the visually impaired with a voice-activated search option to avoid having to type search words. Sign language is also available for the hearing impaired in addition to an instant conversation service if customers require further support.

H.E Mrs. Mubaraka Ibrahim, Acting chief Information officer for the IT Sector in EHS, said that the EHS's participation in GITEX falls within the context of enhancing its effective and influential presence in the health care and medical sectors as well as providing the highest standards of global health service in line with modern best practices – through innovative technologies based on artificial intelligence – that keep pace with fast-moving global medical developments.

"We invite the public and health authorities to visit our exhibition stand to view the latest smart health projects and services that provide innovative and sustainable solutions based on artificial intelligence techniques, to enhance the health care system and improve work efficiency to achieve customer happiness and satisfaction," Ibrahim said.

All visitors are welcome to stop by the EHS platform in Sheikh Saeed Hall / 1 to learn more about the most notable health services it offers and to register for daily draws using electronic devices. Visitors can view the numerous services, events, activities, and competitions on the Foundation's digital channels, including the website https://www.ehs.gov.ae, LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/company/ehsuae, Facebook https://www.facebook.com/EHSUA , Instagram (@EHSUAE) https://www.instagram.com/ehsuae , and Twitter https://twitter.com/ehsuae?lang=ar.
