Emirates Health Services wins Global Excellence Award for the website and social media categories

 Emirates Health Services (EHS) has celebrated a new accomplishment and another milestone in its mission to drive comprehensive development in the UAE’s healthcare sector, winning the Global Excellence Award in the website and social media categories.

The Global Excellence Award recognizes best practices in web design and web development. EHS won the distinction from a long list of organizations from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United States, Switzerland, Germany, the United Kingdom, Iraq, and Singapore. The jury selected the winner based on its user experience assessment on the EHS website, user interface, customer-centric design and content, innovation, implementation, public engagement, and value-added functionality and features.

 

Rashid Al Ali, Director of the Communication and Marketing Department at EHS, said: “This win for Emirates Health Services is a recognition of the tremendous efforts that our teams have made; it is a reflection of EHS’ unwavering dedication to enhancing our members’ performance and capabilities, and empowering them by establishing a stimulating work environment that encourages innovation and promotes a team spirit. This, in turn, sets the stage for more landmark achievements across all healthcare fields.”

 

“With this award, all operational and administrative team members have an increased responsibility to safeguard this progress, sustain our leadership, and continue on the path of success EHS has been on since its launch in April 2021, where we have earned 65 international awards and recognition in a short period,” Al Ali added.

 

For her part, Alanoud Al-Haddad, Head of the Digital Communication Department at EHS, explained that “Emirates Health Services has set an ambitious development strategy, rooted in capacity-building and enhancing competencies. And in line with that strategy, we have made many notable achievements, including this latest win, which came as a result of our approach to employ the advancements we have made so far, promote innovation, establish a culture of creativity, preserve progress, and ensure EHS’ sustainability, leadership, and excellence.”

 

“Efforts made by the EHS team to design innovative procedures and tools played a major role in the advancement of our digital system, including the EHS website and social media accounts, which, in turn, led to this commendable achievement,” Al-Haddad added, applauding the team’s efforts to develop the institution’s digital systems, in line with its directions and strategies.

 

The Global Excellence award draws participation from government and private entities from around the world, highlighting best practices in the areas of communication, marketing, and digital channels, with a particular focus on excellence and proactiveness in meeting the requirements of the modern era in terms of marketing, digital channels and reach. A panel of expert judges specialized in the field is entrusted with evaluating the entries.
