Expo Centre Sharjah all set to host 17th edition of SteelFab 2022

The Expo Centre Sharjah has finalized all preparations to host the 17th edition of the SteelFab 2022 exhibition, which is organized by the Centre with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) from 10 to 13 January.

Over 150 local and international exhibitors from 30 countries and 400 brands of the world’s leading brands in the field of metalwork and related industries are set to take part in the event.

In addition to local companies, SteelFab 2022 will be featuring pavilions for several countries, such as Germany, Italy, India, Turkey, and the UK.

The exhibition is held simultaneously with the 6th Fasteners World Middle East, a full-fledged vertical show for the entire fasteners and fixing industry.

Also, a specialized 2-day conference catering to the steel fabrication industry will take place. The conference will highlight issues of concern to the workers in this sector, above all the future of the iron and steel industry.

“The broad participation of international companies from around the world in SteelFab 2020 is yet another testament to the importance of this event at all levels and its success in attracting leading companies under one roof. SteelFab has become a leading platform to explore investment opportunities in the steel and metals industry and exchange experiences among experts and specialists. This enhances the importance and role of the exhibition in supporting the steel industry in Sharjah, which plays an important role in the emirate’s economy, especially since Sharjah is home to 35% of the manufacturing facilities in the UAE,” said HE Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO, Expo Centre Sharjah.

He pointed out that the upcoming edition is a perfect opportunity for businessmen, investors and visitors to learn about the most prominent technologies of the fourth industrial revolution in the iron and steel sector, the latest equipment and machinery for the steel industry, modern technologies in the fields of metal forming, low-cost laser systems for metal cutting, steel fabrication machines, AI-powered robots, and other related engineering disciplines.

SteelFab 2022 will be open to visitors daily from 10 am to 7 pm.
