Dubai, UAE: The shopping, dining, entertainment, and retail destination Dubai Festival City Mall has announced a line-up of family-friendly events, set to delight visitors during al fresco season at the newly launched, outdoor Ripe By The Bay. Running daily until May 2022 from 4pm till 10pm across the iconic Festival Bay, the market will leave visitors spoilt for choice with food options, locally made buys, live entertainment, and activities—in addition to the ever popular IMAGINE show. This new concept, Ripe By The Bay is perfect for residents, tourists, and Expo visitors alike to take in the beauty of the Dubai outdoors while shopping local brands and grabbing a bite.
Starting the week with a bang, on Sundays Ripe by The Bay’s animation storytelling show is bound to be a winner with the little ones, as they explore the art of telling memorable stories using animation and motion graphics. Mondays are when the magic happens; Magic Mondays will wow youngsters (and young ones at heart) with a performance like no other. Tuesdays will leave visitors puzzled – in a good way – as they take on Quiz Night one question at a time. On Wednesdays, it is time for Open Mic night, giving the stage for local talent to unleash their inner poets, singers, rappers, or whatever else they fancy. Come Thursday, it is time for the weekend – which means Music Under the Stars with the best live entertainment that the city has to offer.
For more fun times for the kiddies, the world’s first freestyle terrain park BOUNCE-X takes action-packed adventures to new heights at Festival Bay. Comprising giant airbags, trapezes, slides, and many other features, it is unforgettable roller coaster ride. BOUNCE-X makes the ‘extreme’ accessible and available to everyone from little kids to freestyle athletes. Tiny tots can make their way to the dedicated area designed to boost development. For extended playtime, the free-entry kids’ playground is another must-visit for parents.
Illuminating the Dubai skies daily every hour from 6pm until 11pm, IMAGINE is a two-time Guinness World Record-breaking choreographed projection spectacle featuring the best of music, lighting, and expressive imagery for an experience like no other.
