RIYADH — The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has launched its smartphone application in a bid to keep pace with the digital transformation and provide an enriching and effective user experience to enhance innovation and integration among various stakeholders.
The application includes a digital wallet that provides investors with a list of data and information of a facility based on the registers of the relevant public institutions and the industry and mineral resources system.
The application also includes all services that concern investors in the industry and mining sector, such as requests to issue various licenses in the sectors, the national geological database, a list of banned and restricted products, a guidebook of exporters and factories, in addition to the service of requesting a customs exemption and financing the working capital.
It also seeks to enhance communication means with investors through a news page on the industry and mining system and diversified channels of communication, such as the unified number 099001, email and others.
This step is to keep pace with the digital transformation that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is living according to the targets of Saudi Vision 2030 to create an easier digital environment based on the quality of services and speedy procedures in a way that meets the aspirations of partners in the industrial and mining sectors.
