LAU Medical Center Saint John’s Hospital Supports Al Younbouh Organization.

 

In their continuous mission to give back to the community and heal with compassion, the  LAU Medical Center-Saint John’s Hospital has organized a crafts sales event for Al Younbouh organization in the medical center’s lobby.

The objective of this event was to create more awareness about individuals with mental disabilities and special needs and supports Al Younbouh organization by  selling their Easter decorations, wooden key chains, soaps, cookies and handmade crafts in order to raise funds.The LAU Medical Center- Saint John’s Hospital CEO, Dr. Sally Al Rabbaa stated:

“At the heart of our mission is the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive and pursue their passions, regardless of their challenges or disabilities. By coming together to support these individuals, we at LAUSJH are not only creating a more compassionate and inclusive society, but we are also unlocking the full potential of every member of our community.”

The event was a success the organization practically sold out its stock

All proceeds raised from this event were donated to Al Younbouh.

Founded in 1993, Al Younbouh is a non-residential center for the education, reeducation and rehabilitation of individuals with intellectual and neuro-developmental disabilities.

Based in Sahel Alma, Jounieh, their premises as well as their programs are adapted to the developmental needs of their members. The extensive experience they have accumulated throughout the years and the numerous success stories they have had the privilege to live, allow them to take their current programs to a new level by applying them on a younger crowd.
