M42’s Abu Dhabi Health Data Services and Latvia's Ministry of Health strengthen digital health ties at World Government Summit in Dubai

In a significant step towards strengthening international collaboration in digital health, Abu Dhabi Health Data Services (ADHDS), part of M42’s Digital Health Solutions platform, and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Latvia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) during the World Government Summit in Dubai. The agreement aims to promote cooperation in the digitalization of the health sector, foster research and scientific collaboration, and support the exchange of expertise between the two nations.

 

The MOU establishes a strategic collaboration across three pivotal areas, including the digital transformation of healthcare through innovative technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the exchange of research and scientific knowledge in health and medical sciences, and the sharing of best practices and experiences in digital health governance. The collaboration will focus on initiatives such as real-time exchange of patient data, public health initiatives, joint research projects, and capacity-building programs. The MOU was signed by H.E. Hosam Abu Meri, Minister for Health of Latvia and Kareem Shahin, Chief Executive Officer of the Digital Health Solutions platform at M42, underscoring the commitment of both parties to foster innovation and excellence in global healthcare.

 

Commenting on this collaboration, H.E.
