The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MFNCA), has announced its participation in Innovation Month 2022 with a package of activities and events built on the foundations of creativity and innovation, which are considered key elements of the Ministry’s work and service delivery, and among the main reasons of its success and remarkable progress.
Discussing MFNCA’s involvement in the national event, His Excellency Tariq Hilal Lootah, Undersecretary of the MFNCA said: "This year's innovation month has an extra significance as it coincides with the start of the next 50 new years for our country, which builds upon its last five decades of overwhelming success, capped by its Golden Jubilee last year. Every citizen is striving to exert their best efforts to achieve the visions of the wise leadership, which embraces all people in the UAE and pushes them to innovate and leave their mark on the country’s path towards success and excellence.”
Lootah pointed out that the Ministry is keen to promote teamwork and out-of-the-box thinking by developing innovative, plans, solutions and work programmes, and providing an environment that stimulates creative thinking. This, he said, contributes to strengthening the position of the Ministry as one of the most prominent entities at the forefront of launching vital initiatives and providing the finest services – attributes that have enabled the Ministry to win numerous awards at the local and international levels.
Lootah added: "We must continue our efforts towards enhancing the innovation process in the Ministry, so that the quality of innovation will turn into an established culture in the work environment. Innovation is essential to achieve the leadership's vision and make sure the UAE always ranks in the top spots.”
The Ministry’s agenda for this year’s Innovation Month includes many activities and events that aim to enhance the team spirit among employees, promote a culture of innovation and creativity in carrying out tasks, and develop the work environment using smart technologies and alternative tools that provide the best results in the most effective and efficient of ways.
The Ministry will be sending out awareness brochures about innovation on a weekly basis until the end of February, and competitions related to innovation topics will be open to the Ministry’s employees. A series of workshops will be hosted, with titles including ‘Characteristics and Advantages of the Smart Application’, ‘The Basics of Artificial Intelligence with Gemstone’, the ‘Think and Innovate’ initiative, and a training course on ‘The Environment and Culture of Innovation’. Activities will also see the winning employees from the Ministry’s innovation competitions honoured.
