The Ministry of Culture announced the fourth batch of scholarship students of the Cultural Scholarship Program.
The fourth batch includes 77 Saudi male and female students, with the percentage of male students being 38%, and of female students 62%.
In addition, 56% of them hold a bachelor's degree, while 44% have a master's degree.
The total number of students granted scholarships by the Ministry of Culture reached 359 students, as the Ministry had previously named three batches.
The first batch totaled 79 students, while the second group had 149 students, and the third group was made up of 54 students.
The fourth batch’s majors include languages and linguistics, filmmaking, visual arts, archaeology, culinary arts, library and museums, literature, architecture, design, fashion design, music and theater.
Students will be sent to study at several international universities and institutes, including: Michigan State University, Royal Holloway, University of London, Indiana University Bloomington, Manchester School of Architecture, Queen Mary University of London and many more.
The cultural scholarship program is the first of its kind in the history of the Kingdom.
It aims at fulfilling the aspirations of Saudi students in the labor market and qualifying national talents in artistic and cultural disciplines.
