The Mohammed bin Rashid Islamic Culture Center of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai organized the annual competition winners’ ceremony for students who participated in various courses of the Student Affairs section in 2021, with the presence of more than 100 male and female students, cooperating teachers and employees.
His Excellency Hamad Al Sheikh Ahmed Al Shaibani, The Director General of IACAD, Butti Abdullah Al Jumairi, Executive Director of the Institutional Support Sector, and Hind Muhammad Lootah, Acting Executive Director of the Islamic Affairs Sector attended the ceremony.
The competition was concerned with Duaas and an explanation of their meanings to the Muslim and non-Muslim communities inside and outside Dubai through various initiatives, projects and activities. His Excellency delivered the opening speech by noting that the Mohammed bin Rashid Islamic Culture Center opens various and many horizons for all residents, Muslims and non-Muslims, to introduce them to moderate Islamic culture and the Arabic language.
Muhammad Al-Farsi, senior Islamic culture consultant, delivered the speech on behalf of the Mohammed bin Rashid Islamic Culture Center director, in which Al-Farsi confirmed that the center witnessed different participations of the communities to learn about the Islamic culture, which is presented by the center’s specialists, using modern means education. Al-Farsi stressed that the center is seeking to achieve the best through its plan for the next season. Dr. Muhammad Ayada al-Kubaisi, Grand mufti, delivered a speech on education in which he addressed the importance of seeking knowledge.
The ceremony concluded with honoring the 10 winners of the competition from all levels, among more than 116 participants. The ceremony included various activities and workshops in the outdoor arena, with an Emirati breakfast for the attendees.
