On Sunday 9th October, nearly 600 people participated in the Provis-organised ‘Pink Run’ at Yas Golf Country Club that is located at Yas Acres community in Abu Dhabi to raise awareness about the challenges that breast cancer poses to society, as well as the importance of regular check-ups and leading a healthy lifestyle.

To take part in the ‘Fun Run’, the general public was invited to purchase tickets to participate in 2.5 KM, 5 KM, and 10 KM runs in support of the NGO "Brest Friends", which provides support to breast cancer patients and survivors, and collected funds were donated to the Al Jalila Foundation. The ‘Pink Run’ activity was open to the public and participants received special t-shirts, finisher medals & certificates of participation.

We had a lot of positive energy that day, and we could tell that members of the community were out there to make a difference and connect to contribute towards this important cause.”
