Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Dubai has appointed Covi Larxe as Director of Sales and Marketing.
Originating from Spain, Covi joins Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Dubai with a wealth of international, corporate hospitality experience, having worked across a range of five-star hotel heavyweights throughout the UAE, Bahrain and London. Coming into the team, Covi will be applying her industry knowledge to an area of hospitality she has been looking to explore, lifestyle focused resorts. In particular, Covi was drawn to how the brand brings a unique offering, providing guests with a space to hide and a space to shine. The combination of the serene Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Dubai paired with one of the most popular beach clubs in the Middle East, and in the world, allows guests the unique opportunity to migrate between different levels of entertainment and energy and enjoy the best of both worlds, a narrative which Covi is passionate about continuing to tell.
Beginning her career in London, England, with Marriott, Covi travelled via The Ritz Carlton and Sofitel in Bahrain to the UAE where she calls home. Now in Dubai, she most recently held a Director of Sales and Marketing role within the Accor group. Her impressive portfolio of five-star hotel chains has enabled her to manage clients effectively and she now has a strong understanding of what it means to be agile when it comes to stakeholder requirements and expectations.
Covi’s talents also lie outside of sales and marketing with her passion for music. During her early days in the coastal city of Gijon, Covi discovered a love for music which has stayed with her to this day, something which was another draw to the brand given its reputation when it comes to legendary music and entertainment.
As well as having a musical ear, Covi’s love for fitness and wellness is unwavering, and she trains daily at the resort’s Tone Gym before each day of work. If guests miss her during her early morning sessions, they might find her with an Aperol Spritz in hand at Soul Lounge enjoying the sunset. Just like her sparkling personality, Covi is partial to a glass of bubbles alongside her favorite foods, freshly rolled sushi or a quality authentic Italian meal.
