Oman Air Receives Passenger-Ranked APEX Five-Star Major Airline Award 2023

Oman Air, the national airline of the Sultanate of

Oman, has been awarded the 2023 Five-Star Major Airline rating by the Airline

Passenger Experience Association (APEX). The award was announced on 26

October 2022 during the annual APEX/IFSA Expo in California, US. It’s the third

consecutive year the airline has received the award, which measures customer

feedback in a range of metrics including seat comfort, cabin service, in-flight

meals and in-flight entertainment. 

 

Eng. Abdulaziz Al Raisi, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Air, said, “The airline

The APEX Official Airline Ratings™ is the first airline rating program based solely

on certified passenger feedback and insights gathered through TripIt® from

nearly one million flights have been rated by passengers across more than 600

airlines from around the world and independently certified by a professional

external auditing company.

 

The award is the latest in a string of accolades Oman Air has received from

APEX, including most recently the 2022 Passenger Choice Award® for Best Seat

Comfort in the Middle East, as well as the Five-Star Major Airline rankings for

2022 and 2021.
