On this World Heart Day, You Can Walk and Aster Volunteers will Donate on your behalf to Save a Child's Life

• Heart to Heart Walks – a health and fitness initiative launched to encourage people to walk and for minimum 10,000 steps per day, Aster Volunteers will donate AED 5/ Rs. 100 per day towards life-saving surgery for an underprivileged child over the week long programme.

• Launched today, people can register online via Heart2Heart.AsterVolunteers.com or spot register through the Aster Volunteers check-points at Zabeel Park in Karama on 1st October. The initiative will conclude with a mega event on 8th October at Zabeel Park where people who complete the highest number of steps will be awarded.

• This is a global initiative being conducted simultaneously across 6 countries in India and GCC where Aster has a presence.

 

28th Sept, Dubai, UAE:  On occasion of World Heart Day, Aster Volunteers - the global CSR arm of Aster DM Healthcare, one of the largest integrated healthcare provider network in GCC and India, has launched Heart to Heart Walks – a weeklong initiative at Medcare Hospital, Al Safa, Jumeirah. The global initiative will bring together people from 6 countries to join the fitness programme and get an opportunity to change the lives of underprivileged children in urgent need of medical intervention. 

 

#Heart2Heart initiative by Aster Volunteers aims to encourage people to walk for a healthy heart, while simultaneously contributing towards helping with heart surgeries for underprivileged children. With the combined efforts of the participating individuals, Aster DM Foundation will be donating INR.100/- for minimum 10,000 steps a day, towards Paediatric Cardiac Surgery for privileged children through Aster Volunteers Treatment Aid programme in India. The week long initiative will ensure that an individual walking minimum 10,000 steps in a day for seven days can contribute Rs. 700 or AED 35.
