OSE Industries, a subsidiary of DUBAL holding, has successfully completed the expansion of its current manufacturing facility in Dubai Industrial City, raising its capacity by 50 per cent to 12,000 metric tons annually.

This expansion project, which was completed on schedule and within the budget approved by OSE’s board, entailed the construction of a new plant next to the current facility of the company, as well as installing an additional modern extrusion press and other state-of-the-art machinery.

Ahmad Hamad Bin Fahad, CEO of DUBAL Holding LLC, said: “We are proud to have completed our expansion plan in time and also within the budget. This comes in line with our strategy of making investments in the region’s key growth sectors, in order to gradually expand its industrial footprint. As OSE is a well-known brand for MPE tubes notably within the electric vehicle industry, this development is crucial as it provides an added value in the downstream operations. With additional capacity, the company will be able to cater to the needs of both new and existing automotive, EV, HVAC, and other industrial clients.”

Magdy Samoul, CEO of OSE Industries said: “We are extremely thrilled about the expansion of our business in the UAE, and we believe this is the result of our collaboration with DUBAL Holding. Our long-term partnership has helped us steadily enhance the growth of our company and we are confident that it will continue to do so. In 2014, OSE launched its operations with two extrusion presses and a product line targeted at the automotive, HVAC, and industrial profile markets. At present, OSE has become the preferred supplier for many customers, owing to its innovative solutions, high quality products, and customer-oriented approach.”

Over the next few years, OSE intends to dramatically reduce its carbon footprint in accordance with the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 strategy. In order to move toward greener products, the company is actively collaborating with its major suppliers of billets, as well as its customers to increase the amount of recycled aluminum in its products. Additionally, as the company completes the installation of solar panels at both its existing and new facility, significant reductions in the company’s carbon footprint will also be achieved.
