Back again for its 8th year, the highly anticipated Pakistan Super League (PSL) is kicking off with phase 1 in Karachi. The six teams, representing six cities in Pakistan, will go head-to-head with matches streaming live on STARZPLAY through to 19 March 2023. The matches will see fan favorites fight for the title such as Alex Hales, Harry Brook, Rahmanullah Garbaz, Matthew Wade, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Babar Azam and Shadab Khan.
PSL fanatics looking to keep up with the exciting face-offs can tune into STARZPLAY, which along with eVision, has the regional rights to stream the action-packed Pakistan Super League.
Phase 1 of the PSL kicked off with Shaheen Shah Afridi leading the Lahore Qalandars to a thrilling one run victory on 13 February. On February 14, the Karachi Kings met the Peshawar Zalmi, with the Peshawar Zalmi coming out on top, followed by a match between the Multan Sultans and the Quetta Gladiators on February 15. The Karachi Kings will then come face to face with Islamabad United on February 16 respectively.
The month-long tournament, comprising 34 matches, are expected to be full of action. The current champions are the Lahore Qaladars, who stole the title from the Multan Sultans, but will they be able to safeguard their title this year? Tune into STARZPLAY to find out!
