Power Book II: Ghost Is Back For A Second Season, Streaming Now Exclusively On STARZPLAY

Tariq St. Patrick’s journey through his education, love life and family affairs continue in Season 2 of Power Book II: Ghost, which is now streaming exclusively on STARZPLAY, MENA region’s leading streaming service, with a new episode out every Monday.

In the first season, we saw Tariq on his own for the first time, navigating his new life, in which his desire to shed his father’s legacy comes up against the mounting pressure to save his family. Instead of inheriting his father’s fortune, Tariq and his family did not get a penny of Ghost’s money. Tasha, his mother, will never directly get anything from her late husband’s estate, but Tariq and his little sister Yasmine will be eligible to receive their inheritance once they graduate with a university degree. With Simon Stern’s help, Tariq enrolls in Stansfield University and in an effort to graduate early, joins the school’s canonical studies programme, making him a full-time student and a full-time drug dealer.

Along the way, Tariq gets entangled in the affairs of the cutthroat Tejada family. Because most of his original drug connections are now dead or in jail, Tariq finds himself struggling to find product to sell. That’s when Monet, the patriarch of the Tejada Drug Organisation, wife of notorious kingpin Lorenzo Tejada, brings Tariq into her family’s business.

In Season 2, Tariq’s journey with the Tejada family will get even more complicated and dangerous, as he begins to understand the man he’s going to become, all while balancing his drug operations with the rest of his life. In the first episode, we see Tariq try to resume his normal college life, Brayden provide Tariq an escape, Monet making plans for the business to protect her children and Cane seeking out a new family to take the streets for himself.

Michael Rainey Jr. returns as Tariq, alongside Mary J. Blige as Monet Tejada, Shane Johnson as Cooper Saxe, Naturi Naughton as Tasha St. Patrick, Gianni Paolo as Brayden Weston, Daniel Bellomy as Zeke Cross, Method Man as Davis Maclean and others. The series was created by American television writer and producer, Courtney Kemp Agboh.
