Preparations are underway as Ras Al Khaimah is gearing up for another New Year’s Eve fireworks spectacle, set to clinch two world records for ‘Most Remote Operated Multirotors/Drones Launching Fireworks Simultaneously’ and secondly the ‘Highest Altitude Multirotor/Drone Firework Display.’
Spanning 4.7 kilometres, the 12 minute pyrotechnic drone and fireworks performance will include 15,000 fireworks effects, over 130 sea pontoons and a fleet of hundreds of pyrotechnic drones.
Visitors from around the world can take part in the celebration that also features camping sites, live concerts and a wide range of activities taking centre stage ahead of the fireworks display.
