The inauguration was attended by some of the firm's most senior officials, presided by CA Prabhdeep Singh Bhaweja, Regional Director ICAI Middle East & Africa.
During his inaugural speech, Bhaweja praised the accounting and auditing practices being implemented in the UAE, including the successful implementation of a Value Added Taxation (VAT) system. He later pointed out that the newly opened branch will be led by CA Neetu Jose and Siby C Jose while the firm's offices for the UAE are being led by Managing partner CA Joseph Philip and Partner CA Ajith Abraham Jacob.
