The Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an announces the third edition of Abu Dhabi Moments, a dynamic community-driven event designed to foster engagement, celebrate diversity, and benefit the entire Abu Dhabi community.

Taking place at Khalifa Square from 17 – 19 November 2023, Abu Dhabi Moments will feature a diverse roster of community events ranging from sports and wellness to cultural celebrations and entertainment. A number of fun and engaging activities will be conducted as part of the program, such as calligraphy, doodle wall painting, and UAE traditional handicrafts. Additionally, there will be several entertaining workshops on pottery making, fossil stamp creation, bracelet making, and spin art machines, to engage individuals in a fun and interactive setting.

Along with a variety of gaming activities including football darts, giant chess, teqball, volt sessions, and melt down, there will be sports events, such as sub soccer, basketball, foosball, arcade, etc., organised throughout the program with the aim to foster community engagement. Furthermore, a number of educational music workshops, baking and cooking classes, wellness workshops, awareness and interaction sessions, empowerment workshop, ‘Cycle for Smiles,’ and ‘Zayed Charity Marathon,’ will be held as part of the community events organised as part of the initiative.

Her Excellency Salama Al Ameemi, Director General – The Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an said: “The launch of Abu Dhabi Moments aligns with our overarching aim to amplify the development of an engaged and collaborative community. By hosting a series of dynamic community events in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra, the initiative seeks to highlight the diverse cultural expressions that make Abu Dhabi unique and attract all walks of life to become part of the community.”

She added: “Recognising the impact of volunteering in making genuine social impact and enhancing the wellbeing of society, this year’s edition spotlights the pivotal role volunteering groups play in building a collaborative community. The contributions from volunteers not only impact the beneficiary but also benefits them personally as active members of society dedicated to giving back and creating positive change.”

The initiative led by Ma’an, signifies a milestone in the collective journey toward unity, inclusivity, and the betterment of Abu Dhabi’s community in line with Abu Dhabi Environment Vision 2030.

The events organised under Abu Dhabi Moments are designed to cater to a diverse audience, including families, people of determination, , content creators, schools, clubs, academies, partners, event owners, performers, artists and athletes,., The initiative also features events that promote health and happiness for all.
