The celebrations coincided with the SHEIN x Autism Heroes fashion collection, which features artwork from children who are part of the Charitable Society of Autism Families (SAF)
last week, The Charitable Society of Autism Families hosted a party in their Riyadh Head office to recognize and celebrate talented autistic children who provided artwork to the SHEIN x Autism Heroes fashion collection, which launched across the Middle East in April.
More than 20 little heroes aged between 3 and 13 were joined by their families, friends of SAF, influencer Al Jawhara Al huqail who has been devoting herself to charities in Saudi Arabia, and Powered by Love Ambassador Jood Aziz, who led a fun afternoon of games and activities.
Throughout April, thousands of SHEIN customers sent heartening messages to children on autism disorder spectrum, which were read during the event by Ambassador Jood Aziz, she also expressed thanks to all those who participated in this campaign and committing to continue to support the cause.
During the event, the children enjoyed SHEIN gifts “Powered by Love drawing crayons set”, and many different games were organized, all children had a lot of fun with their families and expressed their expectations for the next event.
The SHEIN x Autism Heroes collection and #IWearBlue social media competition launched during Autism Awareness Month last month, to help foster inclusivity and raise awareness. Fifty percent of the proceeds from sales of the collection will be donated to SAF. The SHEIN x Autism Heroes collection is part of SHEIN’s Powered by Love program, enabling children with autism across Saudi Arabia and the UAE to better integrate within the community and achieve their full potential.
