The Emirates Health Services (EHS) launches the "Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Capacity Building" program

Dubai,17 Nov, 2022:- Emirates Health Services (EHS), has launched the "Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Capacity Building" program, under the direction of Dr. Yousif Mohammed Al-Serkal, Director-General of EHS.

The program targeted EHS’s employees, healthcare staff, researchers, engineers, as well as startups, for the purpose of enhancing positive work environments through nurturing innovation culture and upgrading EHS’s capacity for innovation.

The training program falls under a series of training programs, lecture modules, and workshops organized by EHS, to promote innovative thinking and empower the capabilities of the workforce, to create a pioneering and innovative work environment capable of developing the work system and providing innovative solutions for the health care system.

Dr. Kalthoom Mohamed, Director of the Training and Development Center at EHS, said that the program comes as part of the EHS's strategy to support a culture of innovation and creativity in the work environment, reflecting the necessity of sustaining work towards capacity building and empowering employees to achieve new gains and achievements that supports EHS's goal to develop employees’ capabilities and empower them.

 

 

Dr. Kalthoom explained that this program is comprehensive and integrated as it is dedicated to the different functional levels in EHS, healthcare staff, researchers, engineers, and startup companies as it provides a distinct educational and experiential learning opportunity, leading to the development of creative pioneers in all fields, in order to provide the work environment with innovation competency capable of developing the workforce in the healthcare sector and achieving its goals. She pointed out that the program provides participants with a favorable opportunity to unleash reflection and exert efforts in submitting pioneering and innovative projects or proposals enabling them to make a clear and impactful footprint in healthcare,

 

The program's objectives are to help participants understand healthcare needs, develop their capacity for creative problem-solving and critical thinking, through creative thinking, exploring intrinsic creativity and leveraging diversity to think outside the box.

 

Participants will also gain practical experience on experience in mentoring and training through experiential learning, sharing best practices and innovative projects among participants, and gaining an understanding of different Innovation Think Tank methodologies and tools.
