The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) will organize a ceremony at its premises during the month of February to honor the winners of the Sharjah Excellence Award 2020-2021, after members of the jury have completed the evaluation of data and reports of the business enterprises, local departments, and entrepreneurs taking part in the award.
The event will see the honoring of the winners in the following categories: Sharjah Best Security Standards Award – Launched in partnership with Sharjah Police General Directorate and with the support of the Sharjah General Directorate of Civil Defense; Sharjah Excellence Award; Sharjah Green Award; Sharjah Entrepreneurs Award; Sharjah Small & Medium Enterprises Award.
Also, the evaluation teams, juries, and strategic sponsors will be honored.
About 120 business enterprises, local departments, and entrepreneurs took part in the award, while the evaluation process was carried out by specialists in various areas of assessment, including institutional excellence, green practices, social responsibility, entrepreneurship, and start-ups.
Expressing her pleasure with the success of the Sharjah Excellence Award when it comes to the quality and volume of participations, Nada Al Hajri, Award General Coordinator, affirmed that this success reflects the leading position of the award which is one of the SCCI's flagship initiatives.
She pointed out that the award aims to encourage the best quality standards and business practices, empower the private sector to improve performance and the quality of services, develop their responsibility towards society, and stimulate establishments to comply with the safety and security requirements and standards.
'Honoring the companies and institutions from inside and outside Sharjah aims to support and motivate them to embrace the concepts of excellence and quality,' added Al Hajri, noting that the evaluation process was carried out as per arbitration approaches based on the international best practices, as well as the latest institutional evaluation models.
