VIETNAMESE FOODIES STAFF TO SHARE IN FULL DAY’S PROFIT TO CELEBRATE LUNAR NEW YEAR

A TASTY THANKS: VIETNAMESE FOODIES STAFF TO SHARE IN FULL DAY’S PROFIT TO CELEBRATE LUNAR NEW YEAR

  • Vietnamese Foodies is inviting its foodie fans to say thanks to its staff, simply by ordering delivery or dining-in on 31st January

  • The restaurant’s four outposts will celebrate Lunar New Year by giving all profits generated on 31st Jan to staff in “red envelope” tradition

  • 2022 initiative will be the fourth time the home-grown concept shares all profits to staff to mark Lunar New Year

The award-winning, Vietnamese Foodies, Dubai’s freshest and most authentic choice for Vietnamese food is inviting all foodies to dine with them on 31st January to help them say thanks to their staff. All revenue, minus food costs, generated on the last day of January – Lunar New Year’s Eve – will be once again shared amongst the family-owned restaurant’s 70 hard-working staff.

This year will mark the fourth year running that the home-grown restaurant will undertake the tradition, and the first year including both its Nakheel Mall location and Time Out Market Dubai outpost.

Lunar New Year in Vietnam is typically a time for family and friends to gather, as well as a time to invite luck and good fortune for the year ahead. It’s also a time when elder family members give Hong Pao, or red envelopes, which contain a symbolic amount of money to younger family members.

According to Lily Hoa Nguyen, Owner and Executive Chef of Vietnamese Foodies, this year’s initiative has special meaning: “I couldn’t be prouder of my team than I am this year. Like everyone, we have faced a challenging couple of years and despite it all, my superstar team has worked diligently and professionally to serve up delicious, healthy Vietnamese food with love and care. Now, with two new outposts, Nakheel Mall and Time Out Market Dubai joining JLT and Downtown Dubai, I am inviting all our wonderful customers, new and old to join us on 31st January to help us stay thank you to our staff.”

Regular and new customers can contribute simply by dining-in at one of the restaurant’s four branches: JLT, Downtown Dubai, Nakheel Mall or Time Out Market Dubai on 31st January or by ordering delivery.  Those dining in or ordering on the day can expect the same delicious and authentic Vietnamese specialties that put the restaurant on the map amongst foodies: its signature Pho; a choice of fresh salads, signature dishes, authentic Banh Mi, as well as over 17 fresh and flavourful Vegan dishes, and know that the proceeds of the day will go to the staff serving them.

Opened in JLT in January 2018 and expanding to Burj Vista, Downtown Dubai, Time Out Market Dubai and Nakheel Mall throughout the past four years, Vietnamese Foodies has fast become a foodie favorite in Dubai with all dishes lovingly prepared using the freshest ingredients. Vietnamese Foodies’ menu takes inspiration from the culinary diversity of the Vietnamese capital and the aromatic flavors of the food will transport diners from Dubai to the bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh City. Customers are spoiled with choice thanks to their fresh and delicious menu filled with a variety of affordable, naturally healthy paleo, vegan, vegetarian, dairy- and gluten-free options.

Those wishing to dine at Vietnamese Foodies on 31st January are encouraged to simply show up any location or order delivery via www.vietnamesefoodies.com, or Deliveroo.
