Dubai, UAE: wasl Asset Management Group has announced its support to the Dubai Educational Zone by providing its students with laptops for the current academic year 2021/2022. This will be the second consecutive year that wasl is supporting the Dubai Educational Zone, after it had provided the entity with laptops last year to assist students in the remote-learning process as a result of the pandemic.
A delegation led by Zainab Mohammed, Chief Property Management and Marketing Officer at wasl properties, and Chairwoman of the wasl CSR Committee, visited the Dubai Education Zone’s HQ to enquire on students’ needs.
Zainab Mohammed said: “We are keen at wasl to be supporting the education sector across the emirate, which is among our core corporate goals. We are also pleased to be contributing to providing an attractive educational environment to prepare future generations of students that will be part of Dubai and the UAE’s sustainable development. Our support comes in line with the directives of our wise leadership that encourages us to empower young cadres so they can ably enter the workforce.”
In her comments, Ghaya Al Muhairi, Director of Dubai Educational Zone, said: “We express our sincere appreciation to wasl Group for its ongoing support of our initiatives, which confirms its keenness to support deserving groups in the community. wasl’s support is exemplary and consolidates its commitment to society as well as confirms its alignment with the wise vision of our leadership to enable younger generations.”
wasl has been supporting initiatives and over 20 schools and educational institutions across Dubai since 2014.
