As part of its commitment to support governments and corporate entities in their mission to accelerate sustainable development in theregion, Wilo Middle East,a leading pump manufacturer headquartered in Dortmund, Germany,showcased some of its innovative pumps and systems solutions at the 23rd edition of WETEX, which was held fromOctober 5 to 7, 2021, at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo 2020 Dubai.
The annual exhibition provided a platform for the exchange of ideas and best practices, as well as showcased leading developments in various sectors while enhancing the sustainability efforts of the region. This is part of Dubai’s vision for a sustainable future, under the directive of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy.
Wilo showcased the SiBoost Smart Helix EXCEL, a smart pressure-boosting water system that requires minimal energy; EMUport CORE, an easy-to-maintain and clog-free sewage pump system; Rexa SOLID-Q with Nexos Intelligence, a submersible sewage pump with an in-built Ethernet interface; Actun Opti-MS, an optimized water supply system that uses solar power; and Stratos MAXO, a smart pump system designed for commercial infrastructures with an advanced building management system.
Aside from displaying its products, Wiloparticipated at the event to strengthen its collaboration with existing partnerships, including the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), which is the main organizer of the event, as well as connect with other contractors and consultants to explore innovative digital product and intelligent systems solutions to ensure access to clean drinking water and efficient use of other valuable resources.
