Coming Soon: Masdar City and Social Distrikt to Launch The Hub by Social, a New Sustainable Dining Destination in Abu Dhabi, during The Festival
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; 10 January 2025 – Masdar City, a leading hub for innovation and sustainability in Abu Dhabi, has partnered with Social Distrikt to launch The Hub by Social, a vibrant and experiential food hall at Masdar Park. With the campaign "Socialize Sustainably" at its core, this destination will redefine dining and entertainment by offering a diverse selection of global cuisines, dynamic community spaces, engaging activities, and eco-conscious practices within the UAE’s leading sustainable urban landscape.
The Hub by Social will bring together a dynamic mix of global flavors and innovative dining concepts, catering to every palate. From bold Indian street food at Bombay Canteen, to the fresh, multi-layered tastes of Asia at Asian 5, and the authentic pizzas and pastas at Geppetto, there’s something for everyone. Indulgence takes center stage with Double Like’s legendary burgers and lobster rolls, while sweet cravings are satisfied by Kadayıfzade’s heavenly Turkish sweets. For a taste of Mexico, Tacos Los Hermanos delivers authentic dishes with handmade tortillas, and coffee lovers can unwind at The Café by Social with signature brews in a lively atmosphere.
In addition to its culinary offerings, The Hub by Social also features retail experiences, including Monkeys Everywhere, a lifestyle wear and street-style brand with a soul, promoting positivity and creativity through its unique designs.
More than just a food hall, The Hub by Social is a vibrant community destination designed to connect residents and visitors. It also offers a comprehensive real estate solution for F&B businesses, providing a platform for growth and innovation within a sustainable environment.

The launch coincides with Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) and The Festival at Masdar City. The Festival at Masdar City, running from 17-19 January from 4:00pm to 10:00pm daily in Masdar Park, is a free-to-attend public event. The two-day fair is an opportunity for UAE residents and visitors to spend a fun educational weekend at one of the world’s most sustainable cities. Attendees will be able to participate in several vibrant activities including sustainability-focused workshops, enjoy stage performances and shop at the retail market.
